Ogilvie<\/a> has announced that Nick Hardy has been named new managing director, replacing Gordon Stephen.<\/p>\n

Under Stephens\u2019s stewardship, Ogilvie\u2019s fleet size has grown from 750 to over 24,000 vehicles, making it the leading independent leasing company in the UK.<\/p>\n

He will now take on a new role as chairman of the company\u2019s automotive business, while remaining on the boards of Ogilvie Group, First Vehicle Leasing<\/a> and Active Claims Solutions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI have had an incredible career with Ogilvie Fleet and we have achieved so many great things, building the business up to what it is today. I\u2019ve worked with a brilliant group of people and leave the future of the business in the extremely capable hands of Nick and his senior leadership team.\u201d<\/p>\n

New leadership<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hardy has worked in the fleet sector for more than four decades, and has been sales and marketing manager at Ogilvie Fleet for the past 18 years. During this time he has supported the company\u2019s continued growth with a strong focus on innovation and customer service.<\/p>\n

Hardy said: \u201cIt\u2019s a real honour to take on this role. Gordon has built something truly special at Ogilvie Fleet, an organisation defined by its people, values and commitment to our customers.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m excited to have the opportunity to build on that legacy and guide us into the next chapter of growth and success.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Internal promotions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Hardy\u2019s promotion is part of a raft of leadership changes, with Jill Stephen moving from customer services director to operations director, and Ashley Crookes promoted from director of sales \u2013 north to sales and marketing director.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Richard Jessop has been named new director of sales \u2013 north and Andy Stephen will become technology and systems director.<\/p>\n

Hardy said:<\/p>\n
