Automotive charity Ben<\/a> has launched a new financial campaign<\/a> to support struggling families.<\/p>\n

Running across Ben\u2019s channels over the coming weeks, the campaign aims to raise awareness of the support available<\/a> for those experiencing money worries and the impact that financial pressures can have on physical and mental health, as well as relationships and overall wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Cost-of-living pressures have become an everyday reality for many automotive workers. In recent years, Ben has seen a rise in people needing urgent financial assistance, including help with food, rent, utility bills and vital support to keep a roof over their heads.<\/p>\n

The scale of the issue is significant. Ben\u2019s latest survey report revealed that one in six industry people are skipping meals to save money, and one in five are experiencing issues with debt.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Financial Wellbeing Index, which surveyed more than 5,000 workers, found that 77% say money worries affect them at work. Financial stress is closely linked to anxiety, low mood and depression, with far-reaching consequences for individuals and families.<\/p>\n
